Louisville loses PG JaQuan Lyle

 

ESPN 100 point guard JaQuan Lyle (Evansville, Ind./Huntington Prep) became the second point guard to decommit since July. Quentin Snider, the No. 28 prospect in the 2014 ESPN 100, had been committed to the Cards for two years, but announced his intentions to play at Illinois on Thursday.

 

Lyle, the No. 22 overall player and No. 5 point guard, plans to weigh his options, but is putting a premium on playing time.

"I'm looking for a coach that will push me to get better, not that Coach P wouldn't, and where I can come in and impact," he said.

Lyle has spoken with Indiana's Tom Crean and Connecticut's Kevin Ollie since announcing his decommitment. Memphis, Arizona, Baylor and Kansas have also expressed interest.

"It would probably be Kansas," Lyle said. "I like them a lot, and me and [assistant] coach [Jerrance] Howard had a relationship at Illinois and also when he was at SMU."

Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino announces junior Chane Behanan suspended from the team.

 

Behanan suspended indefinitely for violation of U of L policy. Pitino said it's possible for Behanan to return but "not probable." The earliest Behanan can return is mid-December but Pitino "doubts" that he will be back by then.

вообще-то он не один тест завалил, говорят, плюс уже был дисквалифицирован в том году, плюс у него был в межсезонье испытательный срок, как у пиджея, мол - если паинька, то вернешься, а если снова нарушение - гтфа. и не прошло и недели после этого, как он снова нарушил режим, уже будучи в штрафбате

 

 

говорят, он может на пары ходить, но мало того, что не тренируется, но вообще не живет с командой

так что, говорят в декабре максимум может вернуться, то есть би бек фо кентакки)))

Louisville coach Rick Pitino said Thursday that forward Chane Behanan is doing "all the things necessary" to get back on the team.

 

"Chane is doing the right things but he is not on the team right now," Pitino said. "He is doing all the things necessary to be back on the team. I still don't envision him rejoining the team until December. He may practice in November, but I don't anticipate him playing in any games before December and that's only if he continues to do the right things.''
