Under the NBA's scale for rookie salaries, Porter was expected to sign a deal that could pay him up to $19.4 million over four seasons, with the first two seasons guaranteed.

Elbert Robinson: The big man from Texas looks to be the top prospect on the Hoyas board at this point. At the NBAPA Top 100 camp in Charlottesville, VA last month Robinson was one of the more dominant big men in attendance, averaging 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The average of 6.2 rebounds per contest was good enough for fifth best among the 20 Centers in attendance. Robinson is slated to take an official visit to Louisville, one of the remaining schools under consideration along with Georgetown, Kansas and Ohio State, sometime in July.

While Louisville has been a major player for Robinson up until this point the recent commitment of Jaquan Lyle raises the question of whether there will be room for the Cardinals to take more than one big man and if Elbert Robinson is the top candidate on their recruiting board with prospects like Trey Lyles, Cliff Alexander, Myles Turner and Goodluck Okonoboh still available and interested in Louisville. The visit to Louisville will be something to watch going forward in order to gauge where Robinson's interest is with the Cardinals program. A future visit to Georgetown, should one be scheduled, would be paramount in the Hoyas chances of landing the highly touted big man.
