Grand Canyon grad transfer Jovan Blacksher Jr. has committed to Cal.

The 5’11” guard from Oakland CA appeared in 26 games, averaging 4.8 points, 1.0 rebound, and 1.5 assists in 15.4 minutes per game. Blacksher was named preseason WAC Player of The Year prior to the 2022-23 season but suffered a knee injury which limited his production. During his best season at Grand Canyon he averaged 15.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals in 2021-2022.
