Как то совсем незаметно в последние годы проходит сей турнир, ни тебе фото, про видео совсем молчу
Хоть как то скрасим воспоминания о нем
In a setting unmatched on the summer recruiting event circuit, the Under Armour Elite 24 lived up to the hype. Although it took a major 2nd half comeback from Team Bed Stuy to make the game exciting and competitive. Not only was the venue located at the most picturesque of settings, the game was just absolutely loaded with talent and lent itself to tons of transition buckets and breakaway dunks.
Prior to the game, it was well known that Emmanuel Mudiay was going to make the headlines with his announcement on a college, but he wound up stealing the show on the court as well. At halftime, Emmanuel Mudiay “Shocked the World” with his decision to attend SMU over Kentucky. With the weight of his decision off his shoulders and a game perfectly fit for his style of play, Mudiay took over in the second half. He was flashy and fundamental at the same time, involved his teammates and knocked down some impressive jumpers.
Mudiay’s dominance was matched only byIsaiah Whitehead’s terrific game. Whitehead was equally as dominant and put on a show for those watching in attendance or at home on ESPNU. Both had fans on their feet and from time to time went at it head-to-head. Whitehead finished with 26 points and got the better of Mudiay on the play of the game where he finished off an And1 while being tightly guarded by Mudiay.
Team Coney Island, led by Justin Jackson’searly 7-7 FG shooting, was up by over 30 points early in the second half but eventually let Team Bed Stuy back in to the game. Bed Stuy made a valiant comeback midway through the second half cutting the lead to as little as 4 with one minute to go. Co-MVP’s Emmanuel Mudiay and Stanley Johnson lead the comeback effort with a few others chipping in. 2015′s Stephen Zimmerman got a chance to showcase his outstanding skills during the run in limited minutes. Zimmerman, a 7 foot lefty, lead the break, affected shots on defense, finished with strong dunks and rebounded well. Zimmerman is a top 10 talent and some services even list him as the overall #1 player in the class. Kelly Oubre also stood out during the run. He got second chance points, rebounded and finished multiple breaks with some nice dunks. Bed Stuy’s comeback fell short by 5 points and Team Coney Island took home the win 114 – 109.
